My Mother's Candied Sweet Potatoes

My mother's recipe is rather simple and 
I don't like the kind that has the marshmallows in them and 
baked until it is a mush. 
Mine is all done on the Stove Top.  
It can be made at the last minute too.
Open a can of Sweet Potatoes and empty into a saucepan.
Heat for about 3 minutes.
Remove Sweet Potatoes and set aside.
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar to the liquid

Boil until about half of what it was before you added the butter and sugar.
Put the Sweet Potatoes back in the sauce you just made and heat thoroughly.
